Opus Energy Challenge

Planned Fundraising Activities

As part of our charity commitment to raise money for charity, Opus Energy regularly plan a series of events for everyone to get involved with to help us achieve our goal. By taking part our employees have built stronger existing friendships and created new ones across Opus Energy.

Opus Energy like to bring a little fun to the working day and if it raises money for charity even better!! Our employees have organise arranged cake sales, fancy dress days, raffles, sweepstakes and much more - all in the name of charity.

Just some of the events that have challenged Opus Energy empoyees are the New York marathon, The BUPA Great South Run, and the 24 Peaks Challenge.

Up and coming events...

Opus Eco-day 3rd March 2010

Eco-Opus' aim is to build the awareness of energy efficiency throughout the company to help reduce our role in climate change, and to start the ball rolling the Opus eco-team is running eco-day on Wednesday 3rd March.

The activities during our Eco-day on Wednesday 3rd March will include:

Opus eco day Midnight Walk for Cynthia Spencer Hospice

5K Midnight Walk Pyjama Party 24th April 2010

Opus Energy employees are stepping up to the challenge of the 5K Midnight Pyjama Party held on 24th April 2010 in aid of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice and four other charities. They will be setting off in their jim-jams at 10.30pm on night out with a difference, as they head off into the darkness looking for that hot chocolate and bacon butty that will be waiting for them at the finish line.

Employees have even got their friends and family involved to make a real evening of it! The Midnight walk is a great chance to get together with a group of friends, and have a giggle, whilst raising money for a great cause. By taking part they are making a huge difference to the lives of so many.

Good luck to everyone taking part. Wrap up warm and have fun!
